TOPIC: First time using mobile hip.

Found out the lists don't work. One strange thing happened, as I was stumbling in and out of the inspection because of my power save function the inspection got saved several times.  By the time I got back home it seemed to not want to let me easily maneuver around in the inspection.  I gave up and uploaded to cloud and downloaded to the laptop to finnish.  Do think that was my galazy note causing the problem or is that and issue at the moment?

Gary after using the app for about an hour you need to exit the app (click Back a few times) and then enter it again. Android doesn't like running an app for hours on end and this exit/re-enter takes 20 seconds and resolves the issue.

Lists are working in the beta version. We hope to have a public release soon.

Try mobile hip on a 2nd inspection last Friday. Had similar issues with the program slowing down. I'm still learning the phone so it may be my fault.  This time I got the program stuck try to close and had to use task manager to shut down.  My other issue is the voice recognition.  I tried to use it in creating editing a comment and mobile hip would not take any voice command.  I have used voice command on the new phone for dictionary and it worked fine. I'm wondering if others have had success using speaker with hip mobil.

Depending on the phone that means you did not have a cellular signal for voice and has nothing to do with HIP itself. On some phones you can download an offline voice pack so voice works without internet.

About HIP slowing down, did you completely exit HIP Mobile (by clicking back a few times) an hour or so into the inspection? If you don't do that then the system will run low on memory as I noted on my previous post.

I don't think I was actually hitting the back button, I was hitting the main button which took me back to the home start screen.  I'll see our the back button works.  On the voice thing I guess your saying I probably need an app to make my voice recognition work when I'm not on the internet.  When it has worked it was always on wifi at my house.  I'll keep trying this cause I really like the way the comments show up on my galaxy note.  Much, much better than the Slate tablet.
