How does everyone handle multiple images for the same defect. For example you have several images of loose or lifting shingles and only have one comment. It seems odd to add the comment for four images four times. What do you do if you have images that are separated by other images? You notice a large crack in the front of the home and a similar one in the rear but have multiple images in between, they end up separated in the report if they do not have a shared comment. My old software could have one comment and as many images that I wanted to follow without captions if I liked. I was looking to duplicate that in some fashion.

Do you really mean add the comment 4 times or are you referring to having the same caption 4 times?

Either, If I have four images that should share one comment(ie., multiple lifting shingles) what is the best way to add them.
Use the same comment four times Use the comment and caption the other three Use different comments on each Then how do I keep them in the same part of the report if they are not taken sequentially? |

Number the pics that are of the same subject.
Open the pic folder. Select the pics you want to go together. Right click the first selected pic. Select "re-name". Type a numeral (1,2,3,4,5) in the first pic and all following pics will be re-named and put in sequence with each other. |

If they all have the same drop down boxes set they will all appear in the same section no matter what. You don't need to worry about when you took them. As far as captions go, you have a narrative describing the issue right above the pics, as a caption that's up to you. Usually if you have multiple pics there are slightly different issues so you are trying to point out what they are.

John I know exactly what you are talking about, I run into this myself, photos not being in the right order. The only way to do it now is by David A’s example. What we need is a way to move the photos within the damage panels. I believe Dom is working on this or knows that this would be a great feature to add!
OR AT LEAST I HOPE HE DOES!! HINT, HINT |
