TOPIC: Changing A Narrative During An Inspection

So I don't know if this is possible, but figured I would ask.

During an inspection if I change a narrative in my library or add a narrative to it for future use can I save it or do I have to add it later?

Right now I keep Notepad open to copy/paste narratives I want to change or add.

Of course,  you can add narratives whenever you want!! Just make sure to click Save Template when done. When you add/edit a narrative on the left side of the red/black and save template it becomes permanent. When you edit a comment on the right side then it only saves with the inspection. This allows you to control which narratives are saved to the template.

The problem I had is that I start each inspection with a saved base inspection template so If I change it during an inspection I couldn't save it to my starting report because of what I already added to the report. I guess this would be alleviated with the new merge function though.

I'm not sure if I'm make sense, but I think I have it figured out. I'm really looking forward to your class in AC.

Yup, the new merge feature would serve this exact purpose for you. Just merge in your saved base inspection. That way it's only adding in your selected comments.
