TOPIC: 2 Licenses issue

I have 2 licensed for my company and one that I sub for when he is overbooked. When I do the reports under his license name, my company name still appears on the bottom of each page. I chose his license and saved but still no go. Help please, I am in the middle of one of HIS reports.

Download two separate HIP programs call one "C:\Program Files (x86)\Home Inspector Pro" and the other "C:\Program Files (x86)\Home Inspector Pro/ insert company name" and separate your licenses. This will give you two separate programs and your problems will be solved.  ;)

Actually HIP 3.4 added an option to toggle between licenses. You can do Drew's method or just update HIP and load a second license file. Make sure you've changed the company name too from the drop down. You might need to exit HIP and go back in after making the change.

I did Drews method and now I lost all of my documents that I created. Also, when I go into company #1 and change the logo it also affects the logo i company 2 and they are in different folders. Can I get a call from someone today so we can sort this out. 703-395-2753. Mike

You would need to copy your documents folder from the Data\Documents folder of one version of HIP to the other. You'll also want to make a 2nd shortcut to the 2nd copy of HIP by browsing to that folder right click on the HIP icon and select Send To->Desktop as Shortcut. That ensures you're opening the two copies separately.
