TOPIC: MS Surface Pro

HIP would work on this, right?

I may get buy one of these, but wanted to make sure that it worked with HIP.

I was confused about the surface vs RT vs surface pro.

Yes it works good with HIP. RT edition is like a big phone and doesn't run any normal apps.

Has anyone used the Surface Pro in the field? My question  relates to the hi-res display.  Microsoft has the recommended display setting at 150%.  At this setting, are headings and the Client input screen compressed where text can't be read?

As much as I love my old tablet...Ive burnt through the 3rd battery and the Surface Pro is the closest option

I'm looking at adding an option to HIP Desktop to adjust font size within the program as their 150% does exactly what you mentioned. Just have a few other fires to get out first.

That would be a great option.  That's nice that Window's has that option (which Apple does not)...but I can through headings out of wack in programs.

I could see the Surface being great for HIP. 

Will be interesting to see how HIP works on the new 8 inch windows 8.1 tablets

These new windows devices are the same size as the ipad mini and could be the future.
