Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but, I have noticed on my last 3 inspections, maybe last 4 that when I upload the report to the cloud from the ipad, I open it up on the destop and I'm missing certain pictures. Today's happened to be of the roof. Every single picture vanished! Fortunately I back up and take some with my digital camera for my own purposes but, I can tell you this, I KNOW for a fact I saved them before continuing. It's truly frustrating to get back to the office and download the report from the cloud and you are now faced with missing pictures in your report. Can you imagine if I didn't take a few with my camera what would happen? Please Dom, look into this because I can guarantee you i took and saved those roof pictures today. Thanks for listening. Partly venting I guess out of frustration. Any help is greatly appreciated. Again, I use an Ipad Mini and am definitely taking the pictures, I then wait for the screen to do its "turn around" and present me with the option of typing in a caption if desired and then, I hit the "save" button at the bottom.

Hi Bert,
Make sure you've updated to the latest version of the program on your mini. The version with the fix for this was approved a week or two ago by Apple. There was a workaround to recover them before as they still up load but the problem was resolved. It was actually resolved the day the issue was discovered but it takes Apple a few weeks to approve updates (very frustrating)! |

Okay, so it wasn't me alone but a legitimate issue. Very well, I'll go to apple and update right now then. Thanks Dom. Appreciate the quick reply. I'll follow up and let you know once I've updated and performed another upload if its been resolved.

Yup, it was definitely an issue. It occurred if you added comments to a section after taking pics.

While we're on this, I've noticed whenever I go to start a new inspection and I create the inspection with the new customers name, when I go to the client page, it still retains the previous clients info. Like address. City, zip code, etc... Is this normal? Or did the latest update from apple also fix this?
