Been using HIP for almost 2 weeks now. The more I get into it, the more I like it!!
As far as backing up my stuff. I am constantly changing my templates by adding comments and re-aranging trying to get things how I want them. If my computer would crash, I would lose my template with all my new comments correct? I currently use carbonite to back up my files automaticly, but do I need to back up the HIP program itself on a flashdrive to save my comments in case something would happen? Thanks |

You need to tell Carbonite to backup HIP and the file types. Go to C:\Program Files (x86). Right click on Home Inspector Pro and click backup. Then go into the Client Data and Data folders, right click the .tpz, .hzf and .hdf files (just one of each) and say 'backup files of this type. Then you'll be set.
Backing up the entire HIP folder to a flashdrive is also perfect as you can run HIP directly off that flashdrive on any machine. If you're using the cloud service your templates are backed up when you upload them to the cloud to use on HIP mobile as well. |
