If I already have HIP on my laptop is the Ipad program free?

No, HIP Mobile is a separate purchase and gives you the license for Android, iPhone & iPad devices. You can purchase it by clicking on Pricing at the top of our site. It also requires the cloud service (which you can try free for 3 months).

Since not all inspectors want mobile versions we decided to split the cost of the two programs rather than force everyone to buy it packaged together.

That makes sense. 

Do you have a trial version like the pc program?  I don't have my hip library built/organized yet (work in progress) so I won't start using the program on site right now but would like to try it.

Yup, just download it from the App Store and sign up for the Cloud Trial.

iPad app is normally $199, on sale until Christmas for $150.

Cloud is $20/mo or $15/mo if you have a website with us.

Hi Dominic..two things I noticed while trying while testing out IPAD/IPhone app...1)Client Info doesn't clear out when starting a new inspection.  2nd) When I take a pic and save the pic, if I click any other comment afterwards...the pic clears out. If I progess to any other damage panel, the pic will stay put just fine.

Thanks Dan, both good finds. For the first, just end the app for now between inspections. And take pics after comments for now. We'll get both of these fixed asap but Apple isn't approving new updates until after January 1st.
