TOPIC: HIP Mobile on your cell phone

Just wondering how many, if any, inspectors use HIP on their cell phone to do inspections on site?  Or would it be too small a screen?

Yes I do.

Tablet gets in my way. I use my phone all of the time.

I only "start" my reports on the phone to collect inspection data. I do not try to finish it all there, just get things started. But I don't see why you couldn't.

Phones can be all difference sizes too. My Samsung Note II has a 5.5 inch screen!! Of course there's little 2.5" screens too.

I've been considering getting a Samsung Note 2 and using HIP mobile to gather data at home inspections.  Once finished i want to download the data to my laptop to finish the report.  So first is it possible to upload from Hip mobile to Hip and is it possible to do that via WiFi.

Yes that's exactly what you do but you need an Internet connection somewhere for the transfer. So if your cell has internet you're good as you can share that connection with your laptop.

Is there a demo where you walk through an actual home inspection and show how all this fits together?
What type of connections are needed/ interfaces?
Can you include pictures taken with the Samsung note 2 directly into the report or do you add them later?
Can I use upload my current .tpz into hip mobile and use it or do I need to revise it somehow to work with Hip mobile?
