TOPIC: Problems in Summary page and attaching document

Hi all. I am using inspector pro v.3.2.7.  I got 2 problems and hope anyone can help me.

1) When I "only select" print summary in generate report without selecting any other topics, the report will not show any data at all. It will only show the data of the topics that I have selected to generate with. This makes it difficult to just sending a summary list to the sellers or their agents when sometime clients ask me to send a summary list to them.  Now I have to send them(the sellers or seller agents) a full report (which I dont want to ) or I need to use other PDF software to delete all other pages but the summary pages.....

2) I am using paper-sign contract. I scan the contract in jpg file and email to the client with the report in separated files. I am wondering if there is a function in the Inspector Pro that I can attach PDF or JPG file in the report as attachment?

1. Yes that's correct as you have told HIP to ignore all the other sections. Legally you always want to send them a full report. If you really want a summary only you can install a PDF print driver (Bullzip is a good free one). Then you click Print when looking at your PDF report and say you want to print pages 3-5 for example until a new PDF.

2. Don't use a paper contract! Just use the built in HIP contract feature where you can even have them sign on site. If you have a site with us they can sign on your website too. You'll eliminate the headache of having to scan anything.

This is one step we should not have to take agent buyers agents like the full report but summary to pass to the sellers agent to work out which defects they want to address. 

Legally they need to be getting the full report in most states.  Because of that I've only had a few people ask for this so it was never added. A huge advantage to HIP is the page and item numbers in the summary. Because of this agents and easily copy and paste the important info to their contract negotiations. It's something we could add down the road though.
