Hello all,
Is it possible to attach a re-inspection report to the original? What is the best way to document this with hip? I'm think it will have to be a separate report (because of different time and date...). Thank you |

Depends on how you do it. Some people use the original inspection and add notes to new comments to flag it was seen on reinspect. Others use a new report and only have sections print if they were commented on. You can also merge two pdf's but I don't think that's necessary. Its a personal preference thing, just make sure to state that it's only a reinspection.

Hi Dominic,
I just did a new report with just the systems needed. My client was asking me to do an addendum to the original but I wasn't sure that was possible. Thank you Have a great night! |

I usually open the original report, add an Addendum under each problem i.e.
Addendum : plumbing deficiencies were corrected Then I re-issue the report under a new name: Franklin - 265 Patent Lane with Addendum and upload the report |
