TPZ files are your template files. They are opened with Home Inspector Pro software. If you have downloaded one from this message board or an email, just move it to the folder at C:\Program Files\Home Inspector Pro\Data

Then when you open the HIP software, you can choose to open that file using the "Open Template" button at the top.

I purchased Kentons' Narratives (HIP version-download) and cannot open the TPZ file to insert it into the HIP Data program. The HIP program will not open it. I have tried two programs that will allegedly open it, but no, they wont.

Any suggestions??? Very frustrated!!!

Btw... what program would normally open the file type. I understand I should only have to double-click the file to open it. I am running Win7 Professional 32bit on my HP ProBook. I have checked what I can in my system for errors, to no avail, but don't even know where to look to begin with.

That is what I have tried, and when I click Open Template, it isn't there.
Btw... it is a 'compressed' file, which doesn't unzip. I have tried a couple Zip progs to unzip, but won't.
