TOPIC: Photo order

Is there a way to rearrange the order of your photos within the comment sections or can that only be done when you down load them all into the report? I'm sure this has been asked before so if you could show me where to find it, that would be great.

It can only be done before you download them into the report.

If you use a Windows operating system, select all of the photographs you took during the inspection and place them in a new folder.

Eliminate all of the photographs that you don't want to use by selecting and deleting them.

The photographs that remain can be grouped by selecting them by holding down Ctrl as you select them. Right-click on the last photograph and rename it with a numerical number. All of the photographs that you selected will be placed together in the folder.

You may need to right-click on the folder and group photographs by "name".

If you still have photographs that you want next to one another within the main group (such as electrical). Simply re-name the photograph out of sequence with an alpha character added a-z to the one you want it placed next to and they will be placed next to one another.

When you upload, everything will be next to each other and will be able to be quickly assigned under the main group such as electrical, plumbing etc.

Thanks David for taking the time to reply and the explanation. How hard would it be to incorporate this as an option, to move photos within a section.

It's on the to-do list and the moving part is already implemented within the section photos right now (look at the pics within each section). I just need to finish applying the changes.

Yes I had noticed that, got excited, then realized that they would not stay in the new order. Can't wait till it's completed ;D Thanks Dominic
