HIP will NOT run on the Windows RT Surface. It will run on the Windows Surface Pro. The RT is similar to a phone version. It will only run limited Windows store apps. Down the road we may develop something for it but not at the current time.

Hey Dom since Micro Surface Pro tablet is not on the market what do you suggest we do if we are interested in using a tablet and HIP to save time on inspects? Are we really saving time since we still have to use the same format we use now with a tablet? When the Apple app version comes out (When is that?) will it be "faster" to use  than the current model we use now? How will a tablet speed up the use of HIP if at all?

HP Slate 2 until the Windows 8 tablets start coming out in a month.

Tablets are much faster as you're inputting the data on site. This means you're only recording data once.

The iPad version is identical to the Android version. It's fast for data collection. I still think the Windows tablets are better. Android/iPhone are good if you want a small device to carry around.
