TOPIC: Mobile didn't save photos

Been using the mobile HIP for a couple months and it's been working good after working out a couple things. I've been using the mobile software to take pictures with my phone to insert them directly in the appropriate category. Everything was working good, but for some reason yesterdays and todays inspections saved the photos onsite fine, but when I got home and went to open the mobile to upload to cloud, the pictures are no longer in the inspection. They are still on the phone and still have a folder for mobile HIP and one for the specific report. So, I have to now download the photos and insert them manually into the desktop software...
Any ideas??

That's odd, I haven't seen that. Make sure to batch add as that will be faster. As for saving, try rebooting the phone and see if it works after that.

I've tried a few thing including rebooting, but can't get the pictures to come back into the report. They save fine while on the inspection.
I remember mobile hip shut down once while trying to open the inspection. It was after that, the photos disappeared from the inspection.

Hmm. Try this. Connect your phone/tablet to your computer via USB and browse to the com.homeinspectorpro folder and delete the whole thing. Go back into the app now and it will ask you to add your login information again. This will reset the program. Download your template and do a quick test to see if it works properly.

I wonder if it has something to do with the size a number of photos. Last inspection had 34 photos on the phone at 6 MP. I tried a quick test with just a few pics and it works fine. I'll try the next inspection at 3 MP and see how it goes.

Possibly. Or your phone could be running out of space. Check under the Settings app to see how much hard drive space is left.
