TOPIC: Add note and Add Caption

I just updated my HIP and I see the two sections when editing comments of "Add Note" and "Add Caption."  Can someone direct me to a thread or tutorial of how these things can help?  thanks.

There's lots of discussion about them here on the forum but the easiest thing to do it hover your mouse over the buttons and you'll get full info.

In summary,

Notes: Allow you to find comments faster. Any text entered between double brackets will not appear on the actual report. For example, Toilet Leaking When observing the toilet in the master bathroom we observed it actively leaking on the floor. We recommend, bla bla bla.

Anything you add with the Add Caption button will ALWAYS show as a possible caption when assigning a photo to that section whether the comment is selected in black/red or not.

Ok I've figured out the Notes and I think I understand the Add Caption button, I'll work on it and see.  This has brought to mind something I've been kicking around.  I like add pictures, assign them locations in the report and then add captions before I go into the main report areas to write further narrative.  This way I have pictures to remind me what to write.  But I find myself typing something into the photo section and then having to retype it into the damage or observation panel.  For example: "outlet in kitchen is loose" because I've typed it into the picture it doesn't populate in the narrative section. Is there way (or are you working on a way) that photo captions can typed in can appear in the observation or damage section when typed from the photo caption area.  (make sense what I'm trying to say)?

I'm working on a few ideas but the best method is to slot the photos, do the report, then come back and do captions. That way all your selected narratives are there for captions.

Use captions for "location comments only" unless you feel like dragging through every single photo twice...yikes.

Adding issues that go from caption to report summery,red/black/material,etc is my dream fantasy.

Good idea, I've been messing with different ways to do it and nothing has worked that I've liked
