TOPIC: Samsung Galaxy Note

I was looking at the new Galaxy Note and could not think of a better mix of phone and tablet for a home inspector. Dom, what do you think of it in terms of HIP? Think it would be a good mix? Better than the Apple products?

Yes, it works great. You just have to take the camera down to 5MP right now as at 8MP it's causing memory issues (the images are huge).

Anyone find a case for the Note yet?!

I did some looking around and found that OtterBox currently has one available and is just about to release the new bullet proof defender case for it.

I have the note with a case that I ordered online from PDA. It is a custom leather cover with a flap and a detachable belt clip. Cost was about $45 but it is so handy. It does come from overseas and took about two weeks to get to my door. You might want to check out the full size pen that you can order from Samsung to go with the note. It makes writing easier during the inspection. Hope this helps!

I love this phone. The speech to text and the handwriting to text is just awesome! I got a case from Seido (I think that's how it's spelled) for $50. It is kinda like an otter case so it is going to be tough. I need this as I am a little hard on phones.
