TOPIC: Questions re upgrading to HIP 3

So I want to make the jump to HIP 3, but have some questions about the number of licenses, etc.

I currently have HIP on 3 computers. If I pay for the upgrade, does that include upgrades to my other 2 computers. How many computers can we run HIP on with 1 license.

My other question is in regards to the coming android system and cloud. Is the android system going to cost extra or will I be able to use an existing license and just pay for the monthly cloud service?

Hi Cliff,

Licensing for HIP 3 is the same as it's always been, per inspector. There has never been and will never be a charge for extra computers. We actually encourage it. The license you have is valid for our full HIP on any Windows and/or Mac you have.

The mobile version is a totally separate program built from the group up. The license will cover any mobile (Android,iPhone and possibly others in the future) that you own. A final decision hasn't been made but it'll probably be $199 for existing HIP users and require our existing upload service. So if you already have the upload service you're covered. There is a ton more storage here that we'll have to handle of course.
