TOPIC: New Tutorial On Lists/Drop Down Boxes

New Tutorial On Lists/Drop Down Boxes 12 years 9 months ago #46540

I've created another tutorial in the new format on how to use Lists/Drop down boxes in Home Inspector Pro. View it in 720HD and Full Screen for the best quality!

I like this!

I watched this video; and over the weekend took my first stab at using this feature.  I new the option was there to create "List-Drop Boxes" but I hadn't had the chance to see how this all worked.

"Bathrooms" I personally like seperate...but I used this option for multiple water heaters.  What's also nice is that you cans use   brackets within your list.

Great, I'm glad it made sense. Watch out for the new {{ }} options ;)

Hi Dominic,
Are you planning on replacing the animated tutorials with the video tutorials?  If not where can I find all of the video tutorials?
Thank you!

Greg...These brackets are great  ....use them in front of your "comments".  Whatever is in the brackets doesn't show up in your report.  The're especially great for long comments when viewing at a quick glance.  That way you can quickly see what your comment is about without reading all your text.  I use them everywhere.

Example from my SUMP PUMP section;

 Yes - Sealed Lid  Yes; There is a sump pump installed, however, the pump is unable to be tested - Sump lid is sealed with no electrical-float-switch plug to bypass. This inspection does not verify the existence of or effectiveness of any sub slab or perimeter drainage system. The typically life of a sump is 5 years, and it would be a benefit to have evaluated by a licensed plumper.
