TOPIC: installing HIP on a new machine

I just got a new (my first)tablet and I want to put HIP on it.
Should I down load the newest version or move it from my old machine?
The new one is a Windows 7 system and the old one is an XP, does that make a differance?
If I down load the newest version which file on my old machice is the one that unlocks it and where do I put it?
Lastly am I right in thinking that all I need to do to move the templates I already have is to copy each file and place it in the same folder on the new machine?
Oops one more thing. The new machine has no plce to plug in a network cable (the network at my office is hard wired) how can I hook into my office net work, is there a USB adapter or some thing?

Move it from the old machine then run the latest update.

Your tablet has wireless so connect it to your network. There are usb network adapters if needed but it's better just to add wireless to your existing network.
