Hello,
I was able to put the license on my desktop and load it into the program. But it doesn't do anything when when I click open. The screen goes away. Then when I go to edit company info the inspector and company name are locked fields. Any suggestions? |

Hi Greg,
The company name and inspector name are supposed to be locked, that's what the license does. It loads your info so we know your're the only one using it. If you've changed company names just let me know and I'll send you a new license. All the other company inf you enter on your own. Dominic |

Hi Dom,
Lets try this again. The problem is that it doesn't put in my company name or inspector name. It has demo version Acme Inspection Company. That is after I load the license into the program. I am sorry to be such a pain in the butt. |

Ahh ok. Are you on Vista? If so, right click on the Home Inspector Pro icon, click on properties, compatability and check run as administrator. Then start the program and load the license. Some Vista machines security is so strict it prevents writing to the program files folder unless this is done.
