TOPIC: Any Ex Homegauger's here ?

Thanks Joe. Welcome to the boards. You'll find the users here are a different breed that on most other sites. If you click the Templates & Sample Reports section for example you'll find dozens of templates from mold to septic tank, commercial, residential and a lot more that other inspectors have created and shared freely. Drew has created at least 5 templates he's shared and is working on an Energy Audit one right now as well. It's a great community.

Question on the report delivery emails...  is there anyway for me to handle the sending out of that email directly.  I don't yet understand how the client username or password is generated (I suspect your program does that automatically) but I'm wondering if I could be the receiver for those notification emails,  then I could simply paste them directly into another email message.  That way it will look like the message came directly from me rather than HI Pro.

Hi Joe,

Yes you definitely could. Every time you upload you get a receipt with a directly client link (in case you needed to forward it) which you could use for an email for the client. For the agent you could use the same link (though you won't know if it's the agent or client that opened the report for now at least). Agents can register on our system and view all reports done for them too.

Feel free to register on the site and try out the upload service. Download Home Inspector Pro and play around with the upload service included with the program and even the separate program that works with any PDF.

That's great Dom,  I only send viewing details to my client and let them send to anyone else they want to see it,  so that's not a problem.

I'll wait for other Homegaugers to provide some insight / comparrison.
