How do I update my current 2.8 to 2.9?

Click on the link under the Windows or Mac section depending on the version your using. Make sure that your copy of Home Inspector Pro is closed before you run the update, then run the downloaded update. Select your folder where Home Inspector Pro is installed (by default on Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\Home Inspector Pro\) then click Next. The update will finish, then you're good to go. You can verify that the version has been updated by going to About > About after loading Home Inspector Pro, the version will be listed at the top of the window.

I must be doing something wrong. Instead of updating my current version, it installs a seperate 2.9 version.

Hey Joey, That is usually a sign that you picked a directory different than your existing program. You can right-click on your existing shortcut and go to Properties to see which directory you should select (the Target), then run the update again. Or go ahead and click on the Live Chat link in the upper-right corner and we can step you through getting the update installed.

Thanks Dan, I figured it out.  It was in two different program files on the C drive. Progam Files and Program Files (x86). Thanks for your help.
