Ok....that worked great on the pc....I just drug the file to dropbox and it moved it and then I created a new short cut and everything's fine.  But I'm a little confused about the mac.....when I click on the exe file from within drop box the program doesn't launch....I already had hip installed on the mac but I rarely use it. Should I uninstall it or what is the next step?....any help would be appreciated.

or should I simply drag the whole hip folder to the dropbox on the mac?

You don't need to move the whole thing, just whatever files you need. Inspections are in the Client Data folder, PDF's are in the Client Reports, Templates are in Data.

You can't click the EXE on the Mac. The Mac has it's own DMG file that's there from when you install the program. Make sure that's still in its folder.

You also don't want to run from within dropbox. Just use that to store things then copy to the right place.

I would like to know a little more about syncing software, I am getting a 3rd computer and am looking to find out the following:

1. will the I be able to since the computers if they have different operating systems?  Windows XP & 7
2.  Can I since different items to different computers.  I want to since everything with my two main computers and only HIP with my 2goPC.  Is this possible???
