TOPIC: Edit a report

I just finished my first report using HIP. I need to go back and edit a few things that I made a mistake on. How do I go back and edit that report. I can only find the PDF file which I cant edit. Using windows 7.

Hi Scott,

As long as you hit Save Inspection, which saves the inspection to be editable later, you can click Open Inspection to continue working on the report at any time in the future. When you click Generate Report it creates the PDF file which is an encrypted, read-only file meant for the client. This way the client can't edit the file and use it against you.

Save, save and save. When I started using hip I lost a few reports as I did not save enough, saved blank reports over finished reports.

I had a crappy computer that caused me and Dom some really bad headaches.

I would save report #100 and then report #1001 for the same report.

Make a back up template as well.
