Hi everyone,
I have branched out my hardware and now have one desktop computer, one stranded laptop and now a touch screen laptop. I am having problems keeping all my HIP and job data files in-sync between computers. I tried several sync programs but the problem is the data getting lost when syncing all computers together ex. laptop 1 in the field adding narratives, sync to desktop back at office, at the same time add new narratives to laptop 2 and sync that to the desktop. Problem, laptop 2 overwrites the previous narratives from laptop 1. I hope I have explained myself well and appreciate any ideas; (home server, special sync program?) :-\ Thanks Everyone Steve |

Use the program at dropbox.com and save your inspections and PDFs to that folder. That will keep everything updated across all machines. It's nest to create subfolders to help keep things organized.

Thanks Dominic,
Ok that should work with the client data and client reports but how about the HIP templates and narratives. |

If you Save Template after moving the inspection then the template will be updated as well except for the Edit Documents area. You'll have to drag the docs to the Drop Box to sync those. They're rarely updated so that shouldn't be too bad.
