Doin' the bump

1) Open the mobile first which has your most recent template, then merge your other inspection. Merging is only additive. It will only add comments that don't exist.

2) Only if the comments are slightly different. Merge only adds things that don't exist before the merge.

4) Yes. If you had deleted comments from the template and you merge in a template that has it, then it would add those in. You'd need to delete them from your base hzf too.

I am using the merge and it keeps adding in comments that already exist. I have not changed any of the hightlighted comments. But as you can see in the screen shot it keeps adding the comment. Maybe I am doing something wrong, or is it a possible bug? Yes Dom, I have checked to make sure that none of the comments are different in anyway. I knew you would ask.

Were the comments selected before the merge?

They were selected or preselected in the HZF file that I merged into the in-progress report. I like merging the comments that appear in every report. So I set up a HZF file that I can just merge into the in-progress report instead of having to pick the comments every time I do a report. I would love if I could just keep them highlighted or selected in the program itself, instead of merging.

It appears that the preselected comments may be duplicating. I just checked in the report and I have this at most of the preselected comments. I am sure I am doing something wrong, you would have heard from the other guys by now if this was a system issue don't you think?

Yeah I definitely would have. But it still shouldn't happen that way. Does it duplicate them in damage panels too or just selection panels.
