TOPIC: HZF file

Do I need to keep the HZF files? I have multiples for clients, for the various saves that I did as I went through the report. Can these be deleted from the client data folder? Or do I just need the PDF? If I do delete the HZF, could I go back and amend the report? Or do I need to keep the last or final HZF?

If you have multiple HZF files for the same client, just keep the last one so you can go back and amend the report if needed. You can deleted them from the Client Data folder like you stated.

Can the HZF file be uploaded to the HIP Mobile?

No, only templates at this time. You can merge an existing hzf with mobile though back on the full version of HIP.

Yes I know we can merger the HZF, which brings up several questions. I like the merge for those comments that I have in every report. But if the HZF file is months old, how does it affect the template after saving?

1) If I change any comment in the mobile app and merge the HZF, which would have been created prior to me making changes in the mobile app, will it remove my changed comments in the template after saving the template?

2) I have noticed a few duplicate comments showing up. Is that from the merging?

3) New comments will be removed if I merge the HZF file, where the new comment did not exist, and then save the template?

4) Deleted comments will be added if I merge the HZF file, where they did exist, and save the template?

I have noticed this in my report from yesterday. Maybe I am using the merge incorrectly?
