TOPIC: Retarted Wall

This is one of the dumber things I have seen. Had a water pond as well.

Client kept asking why is it there. I kept saying get rid of it.

No wonder mold & moisture in the basement.

It's truly amazing at what people do to "fix" things!

Yup!!

One of the dummest things I have seen.

Wow, some poor guy wants a decorative rock garden in the corner of his house to add a little curb appeal, decorate it for sale, add some attractive plantings and boost the neighborhood home values, and what happens?  Some nit-picking, hot-shot home inspector comes along and puts the kabash on the whole thing!  "Get rid of it," always, "get rid of it...!" 

The brilliance of the small tree behind the wall is the best enhancement of all - it will eventually grow enough to provide support for the wall AND shade to the house.  Very green.

The rock garden could also have doubled as part of an ingenious and comprehensive plan to introduce humidity into the playroom downstairs because the children suffer from dry nose and the main level upstairs to cure hardwood floors that are drying out. 

Anything that provides such obvious double duty should be praised.
