What is the problem they download like any digital image Hip has the option to leave a space between the digitals to add in the IR for side by sides or one can use software like Photoscape to overlay the IR on to the digital I do some of both

John, if you happened to buy a Fluke camera, you'll have to open the pictures up in Flukes software, then File->export to jpeg. Then import into HIP. Otherwise like Charley said, they are just JPEG's and can be imported like any other picture!

Oh, Charley, the new version of HIP have Infrared Overlay built into the photo editor, you should update :)

I made it better in the version coming out soon. The first run was just to get it out there and starting to be tested. Now it's much easier to resize the IR image to get it to overlay.

Yes the camera that was used is a Fluke.  I was having more trouble with that software than the HIP.  I tried to export the IR pics and visual pics into the same file.  I wanted to add IR or VL to the end of each pic name.  But every time I edited the pic name while exporting, it lost the information that told it what program is suppose to open the pic.

So what I did was create 3 files.  1 for the original pics, 2nd for visual pics, and a 3rd for combo of both sets.  Then I went through and added IR to each IR pic name.  Then copies all those to the combo file.  This way when I uploaded all the pics into HIP all the visual pics were right next to the IR pics and I didn't have to do it one at a time.  (sorta)  lol

As for the front page pic I added it twice so it didn't throw off the alignment of all the other pics.  I'm so good!  lol
