TOPIC: Inspection Pole Camera

Does anyone have a recommendation for a pole camera for inspecting roofs etc.

painters pole form home depot, 6 in mini tripod from wall mart. Samsung wifi camera and a smart phone to link to the camera. Works great. I have the Samsung camera wb250f and Samsung Note3 Camera goes up 24 ft on the pool and connected to phone to take the pictures. Pole and tripod Totals about 55 bucks

Good quality fiberglass extension painter's pole.  I drilled the end where the roller would attach and JB Welded a 1/4-20 stud into the hole. this stud should fit most standard camera mounts. Since I'm 6-2, this gives me a reach of about 20+ feet and is very sturdy.  I just use the 10 sec timer or the 3-shot burst mode on the timer to get a panorama. Have not gotten around to setting up the wifi deal. My camera does not have that.

I use the Sony bluetooth / wifi lens with my extension pole. Very easy to use with an android or iphone and you can see what the lens see's with your phone before you shoot.
