TOPIC: LinkedIN Connections

Hey Jay Markanich came up with a great idea when he introduced us all to the LinkedIN site.  If you've created a profile on there let everyone know here so we can all swap connection.  Its much easier to do a name search than try and go through all the different connections.

I'm up on there! Jay started the Home Inspector Pro group, you have to join through a request from him.

Yes, what I'm saying is, after people join his group they should let everyone know here so we can all swap connected there.  As of right now, everyone links to Jay then they stop linking other people.

My thinking is, this is like swapping links on our websites, if we all get connected, and our profiles link to our HI websites, then this is just one more way to link everyone to our sites.  If I'm wrong, oh well, jus ignore me.  lol 

No one really links to me.  Go to the LinkedIn site and ask to join the HIP Group.  LinkedIn sends me an email with the request.  I click "approve", "reject", or "block"...  I have yet to disapprove or block anyone...  Once in the group all can link to each other there, as well as here in the HIP Message SEO posts.

Yes Jay, what I'm trying to say is, when they join the group to let everyone know on this site so we all can go look for them and make a connection with them. 

Otherwise all we see on the LinkedIN site is that there are X # of new members in our network and not who just joined X group.  Then we as members must search through everyone in every group to figure out who joined.  If we can figure it out! 

If everyone listed their names here, we could just do a name search and make the connection.  Or go to the group list find them and link them.  Easy Cheesy one two threesy

Another option is for them to send out a group message to let everyone know they joined.  Otherwise we as group members have no idea when someone new joins!

I suggested people come here to list their names because people read these post much more often, and its one central location.
