TOPIC: Home Inspection Photo Gallery

The purpose of the gallery is to post defects and graphics for reference, discussion and fun. Note that you can ONLY post photos that you took, made or have permission to post.

As time goes on I'll expand that categories and create more subcategories. For now I mirrored the message board sections.

Photos can all be rated which helps create a best of. Users posting pictures can also be rated.

Originally we were discussing a place to post graphics for everyone's use, so combining pic's of defects would confuse and clutter the original intent. I also think it should be titled something like "Graphics Library".

I like the idea of the Gallery for defect photos, but would like it seperate from the graphics.

Haven't looked to see where the thread is listed in the table of contents yet, but please make it 'sticky' so it always stays at the top, and we don't have to search too hard for it.

It's linked on the left side of the home page, and I'll sticky this thread too.

I'm working on a way to keep graphics at the front. The problem is that graphics posted can't have a copyright on them. This means that there really won't be too many that can be posted. But we'll see what happens. If we get a lot I'll separate them into a separate gallery. Otherwise I'll just move them to the top of each gallery for now.

I run across many that are public domain. My problem is I save them, but forget where I saved them, as I don't use them very often.

I have the Nachi graphics cd, but I rarely find one that fits the bill exactly.

Okay... guess I'll start posting some defect pics.

Dom... what does error "undefined" mean when trying to upload a pic? It highlights the path (to my desktop) in red.

Hmmmm, how big is the photo you're trying to upload?
