I had Allen when I first started out for about three years, but the rates went up every year even though my experience grew and I never had a claim. I just couldn't afford them anymore.  I did like the info they provide on protecting yourself with good reporting and having a solid contract. Putting up a good number of legal barriers and doing the inspection right is the best insurance.  Not too many people around here are all the lawsuit happy anyway.  Oh, and Bob Pearson from Allen is a wealth of wisdom.  Bottom line, Allen Ins won't be cheap but they know their stuff.
