TOPIC: Thinking of a Website

Well, sure looks like I will be out of a job till next spring, so I am thinking of the possibility of a Website to promote any possible home inspections if any, out there.

I have no clue where to start or how to build one.

I saw this on Yahoo Home Page, anyone out there know if this would work without getting into too much money. Sure looks inexpensive enough, but don't know how affective it would be for my small Urban area.

Maybe this is one for Dominic, I don't know.

In the meantime, survival has got back to my trade and tools. And since no one knows I am available, that could take some time.
I never thought to see this day at 58 years young, but my Father did warn me about 45 years ago.

Click on website hosting at the top of our site and fill it out. We'll help you get a domain name and set you up. Yahoo's site builder is going to be difficult for you to use and optimize. We already have everything set up for you.

As usual, thanks Dominic, but I need to find out the expenditures for even trying this out.
I know it cost little for the Domain, but the rest of it I need to know. 

The domain costs you $10 a year from GoDaddy.com. You want to get it for 5 years for the best ranking, but don't buy a domain until we talk. The website hosting with us is free for 3 months and the $24.99 a month after that. There's no setup fee. Shoot me an email if things are still tight after 3 months and we can work something out. You've done more than enough for the inspector community

Marcel, there is NO OTHER website or hosting company that offers a turnkey site right out of the box like Dominic's.  I have looked into several such as alamode, grassfrog, homeguage, intuit, microsoft live, and others. If you realize D's sites which already have 301 redirects, blog feeds, and webforms which can also be optimized. I will make the broad statement that most don't offer this for a fee, let alone as a package deal. With  these websites, and the expertise you get from D, If you are not dominating the search engines it is your fault.

I know your Commander in Chief won't want to hear that.
