Ouch. Well hopefully you plan on being there awhile. At least your property taxes went down.

No price stabilization just yet.  The inventory of lower priced homes in all areas has declined.  Foreclosure has finally hit the higher priced homes where the inventory is still plentiful.  The increase in foreclosure sales price on more expensive homes raises the reported "Median" price, but does not reflect a true stabilization within the various price points.

Dom is correct, the market continues to be manipulated by the government and banks, don't forget most the big bank mortgage players are either owned and or completely controlled by the government.

(9) additional banks were taken over by the FDIC yesterday.  Including "CalNational" which is the 4th largest bank failure so far this year.

I'd like to give you some positive news about our business and or the housing industry, but good news is hard to find....

How's the activity level been for everyone over the last 2-3 weeks?  You should be noticing a slow down and or more substantial drop in activity.  It's going to get even slower through the end of the year in my opinion....
