Paypal will be charging $35 a month for their PCI compliance if you use their virtual terminal (needed if you take the CC info on the phone or on site). Works fine if you are just sending them a link though.

You're in a nicer area of CA. Down here guys get lots of bounced checks.

A lot of cash as well.  So far I have just told the clients to go to my site and follow the Pay Now link.  I really don't want to have anything to do with their CC numbers.

Your firewall blocks incoming traffic so say yes. And yes we're complaint. This is how the CC industry is preventing congress from enforcing more rules on them. It's costing us $5,000 a year and we make nothing on it. Now that's bunk!

I use the payfuse Dom, and I do not see the numbers either. FNMS has changed the online account settings, I used to be able to see the whole number, now it only shows the last 4. As far as I am concerned, I should not have to go through the compliance process, yet I am going through it.

You have to go through it because you can take a credit card on site or over the phone and enter the information into payfuse or your site manually. Since you have the possibility of being exposed, you have to go through it. Trust me, I wish it wasn't so!
