TOPIC: Activity Level!

I check my email in the morning, do a 3.0 hour inspection and when I check my email again two or three more inspection requests have come in.  I would say about 60-70% are coming in from the internet, at least recently.  I'm also spending a lot of time in hotels, as I've been traveling all over California.  I'm in Bakersfield right now and will head to Palmdale after my morning inspection up here.  It is a crazy time to be sure! 

This year will be by far my best year ever, it is simply incredible...

And I hear from other folks in different states and their starving for work....location location I guess..

I guess you and Jeff Pope are putting a dent in the resales in CA Will...ole Jeff said the same thing, absolutely wild out there, and here as well, banks are loaning, folks with credit are buying, lots of them...!!

(6) More requests today.  I kept (2) and referred (4) more to the www.ashi.org system.  One thing I've noticed, it's difficult to get the folks to schedule more that 7-8 days out.  On many occasions the REO contracts give the buyers (7) days for their inspection contingency.

Saturday PM - drive to hotel in Tracy, CA

Sunday AM - Inspection in Tracy, CA
Sunday PM - Inspection in Oakland, CA
Sunday PM - drive to hotel Roseville, CA

Monday AM - Inspection in Roseville, CA
Monday PM - Inspection in Palmdale, CA
Monday PM - Stay in hotel in Palmdale, CA

Tuesday AM - Travel to Los Angeles
Tuesday PM - 5000'sf inspection in Los Angeles
Tuesday PM - Travel home to Orange County.

California now has:
Highest state income tax in the nation
Highest gas tax in the nation
Highest business tax in the nation
Highest sales tax in the nation (LA is 9.5%)

And.... we're somewhere in the bottom 5 for education scores with 50% of all Los Angeles students dropping out of high school. Just amazing!

And private schoolers do it for less money and have no drop outs...

State governments are going to kill themselves when the federal tax gets up to where they will need it to be to cover this new spending.  Our kids will be crushed by taxes, and their kids...

Will - I am busy, but take Sundays off.  I'm doing two and three every day, have for years, but I need a day for myself, family, church and simply to sharpen the saw. 

You're absolutely right Jay.  I try to take the weekends off, but have a hard time saying "No".  It always ends up being a very good client who calls and says, "Please, Please, Please come out this Sunday for our inspection".

As I'm getting older, I've noticed the recovery time on the old body after a week's worth of crawl spaces isn't what it used to be....

I have been very steady the last 6 weeks. I average about 6 per week.

This Monday and Tuesday I have 2 both days.  So I will only need to do 2 more the rest of the week.

I go days with out a call and then I get 4 bookings in a half an hour.

I did just one today and did not schedule any for tomorrow because it is Mothers day and I am one of the biggest Mothers out there. (If you know what I mean)

I here you about the crawl space recovery. Usually means a trip or 2 to the Quacky practor.

I actually have this months bills paid, so I actually may make a few dollars this month.

The market has been doing much better in this area.

Today's job was nice. 9 year old home, no major issues, 40 pics. 30 minute report, 2 1/2 inspection. Done at 1PM. Rest of day to me, dog, family.
