First off, I apologize for the clarity
These marks are on the inside of a double pane window.
There is a clear center with a whitish area surrounding it, they kind of look like snowflakes.
They look almost like the mark you would get on a windshield from a small stone/pebble hitting it.
There is no evidence of condensation, the HO said they only had one window show signs of condensation last winter
They have been told it is mold (by the window rep, who is replacing), which is possible and at this time it is dormant
This house is 12 years old.

Anyone seen this before?

thanks
Tim

Looks like some sort of organic growth to me.

Did these windows have some sort of coating or film on them?

Looks like delamination of a film due to the glass not being clean before application.
Can't say for sure... wish the image was a bit clearer... ;D

I will be there again tomorrow, I will try putting something on the out side of the window for a better picture.
Do not know what if any coatings.
One of their windows exploded??
I have seen numerous stress cracks in the glass, caused by the pane being installed incorrectly in the frame.

Thanks for the input

Tim, just a question what would be the food source for mold in this situation, where would the humidity & moisture come from, I agree with Bill film is de laminating
