This is posted for general information only.  As Barry says, don't stake your careers on it.  And, you should know, Zinsco aggressively defends its panel boxes against unwarranted claims.  So, take it all with a grain of salt.

Jeff Pope is the Zinsco specialist over at Nachi.

I see FPE around here about 1 out of 10 inspections.

Good link to provide to a client for general info.

Jeff Pope has been involved for the last two years in a lawsuit over Zinsco panels and is under a gag order.  He recommends that we tell people about the warnings, but have them contact their own electricians for recommendations as to further courses of action.  Jeff recommends that we do NOT send them to the various sites.
