This session will review some of the worst electrical fire, shock, and safety hazards Joe has discovered that were published in the EC&M CodeWatch, Illustrated Catastrophes, and What’s Wrong articles here since the 1997!

• Learn how to find some of the same hazards in your area
• See how you can identify the electrical code references that apply
• Learn how to recognize these types of hazards and work that was done by unqualified persons

How well do you know the Code? Think you can spot violations the original installer either ignored or couldn’t identify? Here’s your chance to moonlight as an electrical inspector and second-guess someone else’s work from your chair.
