I found a 230 volt hair dryer that was located in a dresser drawer in London last week.
I imagine that the British Standards may permit this and thought that this subject would be an interesting discussion here. The dryer cord was run into an enclosure (splice box?) and then the cord cap for the supply was plugged in to a receptacle behind the dresser. This was in a hotel room. I have a picture but can't post it because I don't see where it is allowed here on this board. Can I send it for posting? Also, is there an album area for pictures, I have many that will be helpful for any discussions related to home or commercial inspections. |

Hey Joe if you want to post a picture with your message, click on 'Preview' instead of post. This will take you to more options. Just below this window on the left hand side is 'Additional Options'. Click on that and it will give you the option to upload a pic. Just make sure its not too big of a file to upload. Hope that helps.

Like John mentioned the additional options has an atachment area. I have a photo gallery planned but need to finish some other site upgrades first. I'd like to see the picture, sounds interesting.
