TOPIC: The Perfect Tablet?

Already bought it at Costco But it's a Windows machine, he want's a Mac

Yeah, I know about the Modbook, that is what I was talking about in my post.  I could send in my MacBook for the mod but it still costs quite a bit.  Not to be too much of an Apple "fan-boy" but I have used Windows machines in all of my previous jobs and they are just no match for my numerous Apple computers. Even my wife complains every time she is using her job-issued IBM laptop.

Yeah the modbook is expensive and doesn't have a keyboard to swivel to. On the bright side it has built in GPS. But I'd wait a bit longer and see what comes out.

If the price was A LOT less, I wouldn't mind the keyboard issue, I have a bluetooth one at the house I could use.  The tablet is strictly for doing the report onsite.  Now, I have a printed "template" I fill in by hand as I go, and the transfer it to HIP on my laptop at the end of the day.  The real problem with that method, of course, is that I am basically doubling my time.  Not too much of a problem now, with my going average of 3 inspections a week, but when things pick up (soon I hope!) that extra time is going to hurt.

Anyways, I will be interested in your review AND waiting for a tablet from Apple.

I'm interested in my review too. When am I going to get this tablet! I hope it lives up to its hype.

ok, im fairly new in home inspections and trying to survive this reccesion. im getting ready to down load this ispector pro and i need some help. what can i use to do the inspection and then go home and upload it? I dont have alot of $ at this time. any ideas would be a great help. thanks
