TOPIC: Hardware platforms

I am new to HIP, coming from paper reporting.  What are the comments regarding the different hardware platforms that people are using.  I use a panasonic toughbook in my daily job as a medic, however, it seems a little pricey.  The samsung Q1 looks to be popular, but I'm not sure about not having a keyboard.  I like to add additional individual comments.  The fujitsu tablet looks to be promising, similar to the toughbook, but cheaper.  Has anyone had trouble with any particular unit?  Does there seem to preferences of one over another?  Thanks for any comments.
