TOPIC: Importing templates from message board to Mac

I'm a new HIP user and I've been trying to open and save inspector posted templates from the message board to my Mac with no luck, I'm obviously missing something.  Could someone please tell me what application I should be using to open the tpz files and how to save them to HIP templates?

Hi Mike,

You don't want to open them with anything except the Open Template button within HIP. Save the template file to your Documents/Home Inspector Pro/Data folder first though!

When I click on the tpz file on the message board and the window to choose a program automatically opens.  I'm apparently making the same mistake over and over.  I think its in my Google settings, I'll keep working at it.  Thanks

Did you figure out how to save the template? When you click the file it should show up in your downloads folder.

Yes, finally and it was a painful process.  As I thought, I had been repeating the same mistake over and over.  But finally, the light came on....
