Are you saying that all we need to do is connect android to mac (via USB?) and it will automatically populate the fields on the desktop. I would assume that several things would be needed like identical templates, HIP running, etc.?

It will sync via the cloud, no wires needed (iPhone/iPad won't allow you to and we're developing both at the same time with Android).

Templates upload from your desktop to the cloud, then download into the phone.
Inspections upload from the phone to the cloud, then download to your desktop. At this point it's a normal HIP hzf inspection file.

When you say "the cloud," are you referring to HIP servers? Will there be an additional fee to use the HIP cloud if we are currently not using the HIP online service?

Yes, the cloud is HIP Servers which include servers across the US and will include either Google or Amazon servers as our storage needs grow. Our current upload service will be required ($20/mo or $15/mo if you have a website with us) due to the massive amount of data storage. We're now going to be storing every inspection you do on the phone plus the templates on our servers (which means our upload service now backs up your templates too), plus the PDF's. This is without an increase in cost versus our current upload service. Basically it must makes sure to help us cover costs.

So when can we do this?
