TOPIC: New Inspection Computer

I had an unfortunate accident and smashed my computer! Now I need a new one for inspections. I have been looking around and want to see what you guys are using.

I really am interested in a tablet ( I was hoping Ipad would be more advanced by now!). So I am looking for a replacement! Who has the coolest inspection computer?

Has anyone used the new 2Go Pad? It looks great but is it durable?

What tablet was it that you had?

I had a 2Go but it was under a different name. It was an M&A Companion.

Mine still works in spite of having fallen to the floor a couple of times.  The only real downside is that the screen is not very visible in strong outdoor light (a problem very hard or pricey to overcome).  Also, other devices (later designs) may have better "tablet" features. 

Frank, try the anti glare vinyl stickons for the iPad. I've been told it fits the 2Go perfectly.

2.8 made my 2go PC touch screen work great. I also bought a screen protector for the I pad and it works well. The program I use to turn on and off auto rotate is "Quick Controller" which was on my desktop when I bought the computer.
