TOPIC: Android OS?

Is there any chance that HIP would run on Android OS? There are several new tablets coming out over the next few months that run on the Android OS and was curious about how difficult/easy it would be to run HIP on an Android tablet. I basically know nothing about the android tablet.

Android runs a smaller version of Java which can't support HIP at this time. There's a lot of talk about the Tablets moving to a Google Chrome based OS which would fully support java and HIP would run on. So for now, the answer is no, but we're keeping a close eye on it and continually looking for a work-around .

  My wife bought me this Tablet for Christmas. Do you think it will work with HIP? 10" Tablet PC, Google Android 2.2 OS, Webcam, GPS, HDMI, USB, WIFI, micro SD card slot, 4 GB HD,512 MB RAM. She also bought the 16gb SD card. It has the Adobe Flash 10 installed.. Thxs for all of your great work you do with HIP. I love the HIP 3 

Yup it'll work fine very soon. The only downside is no handwriting recognition so you'll need to put it down to use the 2 handed virtual keyboard (or one hand type).

Oh, but it does   I have been writing with it and doing simple sketches with it. I was surprised my wife listened to me when I was doing research for a new droid based tablet. I guess my horizontal filing system really works.. Keep me posted when you need any beta testers..

It works for drawing, there's even an app you can buy that does some handwriting to text. But there isn't (as far as I've seen yet!) an app that lets you use handwriting recognition with ANY app. If there is, PLEASE let me know what it is!
