Of course it is already there. I have been working with this software for years and always learning new stuff. That is why your software is the best. Thank you for the response I will start implementing this immediately.

What about the idea for the double click to add a specific comment in the black or red field?

For all of you that want to change the path where you save your files, here's a tip - create a short cut of the drive/folder that you want in the HIP Client folder. Yes it will require you to double click to the short cut directory, but then you can stop navigating through your computer. You can also, in windows, "Pin" a new quick access folder in the left column of the explorer window.

This thread is for the current items people want to be added to the program. Please give a description of the item then go create a separate thread with the wish so that people can discuss it as well. Don't discuss in this thread, just list the item.

I would like to be able to have multiple colors in one line of text.

Few Ideas:

1-Allow the template to have certain things pre-selected when it is opened.  Example:  I open a new inspection and in the selection panel all my "canned" comments are preselected to save me time during the report writing process.

2-PLEASE allow up to 7 characters in one line for the checkbox heading.(so I can fit IMPROVE and MONITOR in there) instead of IMPRVE  MONITR

David, you can create a report with all your "canned" comments preselected and name it MERGE (or what ever). Then use the merge feature in HIP when you start a new inspection report.
