I wish I could type comments into the Summary Page

In addition to the existing comments, or to change them? You can add a document above the summary via edit docs.

A separate block where I could make summary comments, i.e. Late model home with Forced air heating and Spanish tile roof. This home is in excellent condition with a new 200 amp service etc. etc.

Add a comment to "red" in the first inspection TAB (such as "general Information") with what you want to summarize and it will got to the top of the summery.

I will often summarize everything that I want to go from one inspection tab into the summary page by putting everything else in black and add a defect labeled "significant issue:" to "red" and summarize that report section. It keeps the massive redundancy of having it in both the report and the summary page.

My state does not require a summary page so I avoid the additional work at all cost.

I generally will limit this practice to the most significant of significances in the inspection or I am combining several things from several sections of the report that are associated with one another.

The report I just got finished with was a pre-listing inspection. I took a bunch of pictures and only annotated the pictures. When you do this, there is no option to get it into a summary page. So if I want a summary page, I narrate a summary paragraph and stick it in "red".

I do like the idea of editing or adding to a summary page... wish you could add a like button on the message boards....haha
